The award was presented to the Club Secretary Graham Keable by the FA's board member Michael Game.
The national FA Charter Standard award is presented to those clubs like Abbey Rangers who lead the field in promoting best football practice, both on and off the pitch.
Graham Keable, Secretary of Abbey Rangers, is understandably very proud to receive such a prestigious award.
"After achieving Development Charter Status in 2001, this was a very proud day for the club not only to achieve this award but to support the initiative from the FA, which has helped move the club forward in its development, putting it in the top 10% of grass roots clubs in the country. We also thank SCFA for their support in achieving this award".
