As a County winner Amanda received a plaque and 2 tickets to the FA Community Shield 2006. Amanda will now be put forward for the FA Learning/McDonald’s Regional Coach of the Year Award.
Adam Scott aged 17, who nominated his mum for the County award said, "Amanda has been coaching the team for seven years not only is she a Coach/Manager she is also the Chairperson of Alexandra United. She believes that it is not all about winning, we are a decent side when we want to be and week in week out she turns up with the same enthusiasm. I am not saying she’s the best coach but she does it to the best of her ability, and people don't give her the credit that she deserves which is why I am entering her into coach of the year".
Surrey County FA wish to congratulate Amanda for the Award and wish her all the best in the future.
