In Partnership with the Sport England London Region and the Learning and Skills Council (London), the new coaching Bursary from SkillsActive and the five Pro-Active Partnerships provides financial support and guidance for all London-based coaches, paid or volunteer, wanting to improve their skills, experience and qualifications.
To qualify for the bursary you must be living in a London borough (Richmond, Croydon, Sutton, Kingston, Merton). The bursary is available for coaches taking the FA Level 1, 2 and 3 Certificate in Coaching Football however the coach must demonstrate delivery of 20 or more hours of quality coaching to people over 16 years old and the club must endorse the application.
The Surrey FA will support any applications from coaches working in or with a Charter Standard Club, Clubs working towards Charter Standard and organisations delivering community activities.
