Surrey FA - developing football for everyone
Development - take your skills to the next level

Football Education Programme 2008

Introduction

Surrey County FA aims are to continue to provide and further develop our coach and club education programme providing opportunities which will inspire people from all parts of our national game to progress to a level they wish to achieve.

Parents, teachers, coaches, referees, not to forget administrators all have a key part to play in the development and success of the game at grass roots level.

This alone makes it paramount that all levels of our football development programme are catered for and that all courses meet the needs of the participants.

Improving the quality and enjoyment of football for our youngsters will in turn increase the chances of a life long participation in football whether this is by playing or administering.

The development of the Football Association's Charter Standard Clubs and Schools Scheme will provide a clear pathway for players and clubs.

Together with the TOPs and Community TOPs Programme which include promoting mini soccer as the key footballing opportunity for young players. The creating of opportunities for girls, ethnic minorities, disabled and socially excluded children will be supported by the County as part of the Development Programme.

The opportunities to gain Football Education are there for all to take advantage of. By enhancing your knowledge and skills you will be benefiting the young players, coaches, and referees of tomorrow.

The benefit of all is there to see. Be a part of it.

If the issue is not addressed to the satisfaction of the candidate, the matter should be referred in writing to the County Development Manager of the Surrey County Football Association who will investigate the matter thoroughly and take the appropriate action.
