Our ethics and sports equity strategy is summarised in the FA county plan as the simple phrase, ‘football for all’. This statement is embedded within the County FA and is a crucial part of our 4 year FA County Strategy.
Disability football is high on our agenda and we are in the process of developing a wide variety of opportunities for disabled footballers to compete.
In 2009 we aim to establish a new disability steering group with the aim of mapping provisions for disabled football across the county and establishing a number of FA affiliated disability football leagues in the region.
We are currently looking for people with experience in disability football and strong links within the local community to apply for a position on the Surrey County FA Disability Steering group. If you are Interested and feel you could contribute to the group please complete the application form attached and return it to the Surrey County Football Association, 36 Bridge Street, Leatherhead, Surrey KT22 8BZ.

Surrey FA is also committed to developing qualified coaches to develop disability football within the region. We are organising a number of Coaching Disabled Footballer Coaching Courses during the 2008/2009 football season.
